If you know me, you know I love food.
I love cooking it, baking it, writing about it, talking about it, taking pictures of it, staring at restaurant menus of it, creeping on blogs about it…
(That list got a little weird towards the end, but you get my point.)
I love food. Food might be bae right now. And I might be okay with that.
BUT: I haven’t been eating super healthy lately and I haven’t had much time to prepare healthy meals for myself in a while.
So, I will be using this blog as motivation to eat better and cook/bake/conjure culinary magic in the kitchen more often.
Starting next week– because this week is officially cray– I will be starting a new series of food posts called Pinterest Perfect, in which I’ll pick a recipe from one of my Pinterest boards and attempt to cook them and photograph them properly.
(And, uh they will most definitely not be perfect, but it’ll be fun to see what I come up with compared to the original recipe.)
Next week’s theme is: #thatworklunchlife. I’ll pick a recipe that will be easy to put together and take to work.
Anyone who has crumbled and ordered pizza instead of eating that quinoa salad they brought to work because “that salad/sandwich ain’t gonna cut it after the day I’ve had,” knows that work lunch struggle.
