Fall Playlist, Part 1: September 2019

It’s finally Fall but here in the South, it feels like anything but. Time moves forward regardless of the lingering, sweltering summer heat and the result is a weird combination of pumpkin spice everything, college football hype and 90-degree days.

And so the vibe of this month’s playlist reflects that hazy duality: There are slower-paced songs for our equally sluggish transition to hopefully cooler weather. And there are songs with faster tempos to help everyone get hyped for college football season. (Go Dawgs!!!)
